Multiplier Events

There will be 4 multiplier events which is aimed to present the project and disseminate the outputs.

E1 :  JKU – GeoGebra Workshop:  JKU’s workshop will be provided to 50 math teachers. Participating teachers will learn how to use GeoGebra, and how to develop educational materials. Teachers will also have access to the latest GeoGebra workshop manuals, guides, and help materials. At the end of the workshop the project outputs will be introduced.

E2 : AGIB – GeoGebra Workshop:  AIGB’s workshop will be provided to 40 math teachers. Participating teachers will learn how to use GeoGebra, and how to develop educational materials. Teachers will also have access to the latest GeoGebra workshop manuals, guides, and help materials. At the end of the workshop the project outputs will be introduced.

E3 : HU – ICT in Math Workshop:  HU will organize ICT Integration Workshop for 100 Math teachers. Workshop will cover ICT use in learning and teaching, the importance and affect of ICT integration into learning teaching process, examples of ICT tools which can be used in classroom, good examples of ICT using in Math lessons. Also there will be an introduction about using GeoGebra and educational material development in GeoGebra. At the end of the workshop the project outputs will be introduced.

E4: PEKSA – ICT in Math Seminar: A seminar will be run by PEKSA about ICT-based math lessons. 100 people including teachers, headmasters and the policy makers will attend. Main purpose of the seminar will be introducing the project outputs and enabling as many teachers as possible to take part in the project. The seminar will be based on: The importance of learning and teaching mathematics; New ways of teaching to break down the barriers on the learning of mathematics; Sample ICT-based math lessons; Introduction of the intellectual outputs.
